Personal Life
Shah Rukh Khan, also known as SRK, was born on November 2, 1965, in a Muslim Family in New Delhi, India to father Mir Taj Mohammed Khan, and mother Lateef Fatima. On 25th October 1991, in a traditional and authentic Hindu ceremony, he married a Punjabi Hindu girl, Ms.Gauri Chibber, after six years of courtship.
They were blessed with a son Aryan in 1997, and in 2000, with a daughter Suhana. Later in 2013, through surrogacy, they welcomed their third child, a son named AbRam.
Educational background and early life
He attended St. Columba’s School in the city, where he was an above-average student and was also involved in extracurricular activities such as cricket and theatre. He then attended Hansraj College and Delhi University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. After completing his education, Khan worked as a television host and began his acting career in the theatre before transitioning to films.
TV and film debut
Dil Darya, Lekh Tondon’s TV Series, starred SRK the shooting of which began in 1988. However, with the leading role of Abhimanyu Rai, the debut series of Shahrukh remains Fauji in 1989 due to the production delays of Dil Darya. Opening doors to never stopping opportunities with major and minor roles, he kept his hopes high and head low.
Later in 1991, he moved to Mumbai from his home town Delhi, to pursue his Bollywood dream.
