Young Generation's most common 5 mistakes

Young Generation’s most common 5 Mistakes which they Regret in Life later.

Being young, we experience life as a roller coaster ride and are open to take as many risks and wrong turns as we can.

We count on life as an energetic and confident person. But as we move through life, we all make mistakes. It’s a natural and inseparable part of the life experience. However, some mistakes have the potential to impact our lives in ways we could never imagine. Young people, in particular, are prone to making certain mistakes that can lead to regrets later in life. And it’s better to address and improve them today as there will be no use of crying over spilt milk later.

Don’t worry, we got you covered on time. So, here are 5 mistakes young people make and regret in life which at least you should not do:

1. Staying in fake, abusive or meaningless relationships.

We know we held your sore nerve! Many of us stay in relationships that are meaningless or even abusive, out of fear of being alone or a lack of self-worth. May these relationships be of friendship or with a partner, you settle for less than you deserve and lose sight of your own self-respect. These toxic relationships drain your energy, take away your happiness, and keep you from realising your full potential.

Please stop making people fall in love with you. It’s important for you to learn to love yourself and recognize your own value. You should be willing to stand up for yourself and walk away from relationships that are not healthy or fulfilling.

2. Trying to please your parents happy instead of doing for what you’re really passionate about.

Many of you try to live up to your parents’ expectations and pursue careers that you’re not passionate about. You sacrifice your own dreams and goals to please others, and you end up feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. Trust me, your parents just want you to be happy and nothing less, nothing more..

To avoid this mistake, it’s important for you to recognize that your happiness and fulfilment are more important than anyone else’s approval. Maybe you should have an open and honest conversation with your parents about your goals, your wishes and your passions, and find a way to pursue them without sacrificing your own sense of self.

3. Worrying about failures & rejections.

This is the most common disease in the minds of young people I would say. You often fear rejection and failure, and this fear keeps you from taking risks and pursuing your dreams. You worry about what others will think of you, and you’re afraid of making mistakes. Maybe you’re right that people will mock you or talk about you. But if this is what matters most or it’s the achievement you want to have? You should remember that this fear is keeping you from realizing your full potential and achieving your goals.

To overcome this feeling, it’s important for you to know that you need to embrace your failures and accept them as a necessary part of the learning process. You should be willing to take risks and follow your dreams, even if it means facing rejection or making mistakes. You should trust your capabilities and strengths and learn from your experiences.

4. ‘Finding Yourself’ in place of ‘Creating Yourself’.

Many young people waste days, months and years trying to ‘find themselves’ as this is trending nowadays, instead of ‘creating themselves’ of which no one is talking about. You spend your precious time searching for your true purpose and passions, without taking any concrete action towards achieving your goals. Time never comes back, man. And now you’ll slowly become passive and indecisive, and end up feeling lost and unfulfilled.

You’d not like to regret this in your later years. It’s necessary to get it that you need to take action towards creating the life you want. No one is coming to do this for you. You should set clear goals and take effective steps towards achieving them. You should care for your passions and use them as a guide for creating the life you want. And that will be magical for sure.

5. Trying to make everyone happy.

You, being young, often try to please everyone, and in doing so, you lose sight of your own needs and desires. You become people-pleasers and avoid conflict at all costs, even if it means sacrificing your own values. It’s a big No- No! You cannot live a life for someone else, you only live once!

Anyways, you should always keep in mind that you cannot please everyone. Someone is always going to criticize you. Rather, you should focus on your own values and beliefs, and be willing to stand up for yourself, even if it means facing conflict. You should surround yourself with people who support and uplift you, rather than those who bring you down.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, as young people, we are bound to make mistakes. However, by being aware of these common regrets, we can make more intentional choices that will serve us well in the long run. We should learn to love ourselves, stand up for our passions, embrace failure, take action towards creating the life we want, and focus on our own values and beliefs.

By doing so, we can create a life without regrets and live a fulfilling and meaningful life. After all, YOLO!
